John Castle has established himself as one of the most in-demand producers and engineers in the Australian music scene. Working from The Shed Studios in Melbourne he has proven his versatility again and again on album and single projects running the full gamut of styles from Indie, Folk and Pop to Hard Rock and Soul music. A gifted multi-instrumentalist with an ear for innovative parts and arrangements, he has lent his studio skills to scores of successful artists including Washington, Dan Parsons, The Cat Empire, Lior, The Boat People, The Drones, The Bamboos, Simon Nugent and The Wolfgramm Sisters. In 2010 he was nominated for an Aria award for his outstanding work on Washington’s ‘I Believe You Liar’ album.
